Sushant Singh Rajput DEATH CASE: CBI seeks TRANSFER of hearing mentioning Rhea Chakraborty

The CBI has asked for more time in the hearing of its closure report in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.It also filed a request to transfer the case to the designated CBI court at Esplanade, South Mumbai.Currently, the matter is being heard at Bandra Magistrate Court, where the case was first filed in 2020.Rhea Chakraborty had lodged the FIR against Rajput’s sisters and a doctor over a prescription issue. The CBI informed the court that they would apply to the Chief Judicial Magistrate for the transfer.
The Bandra court agreed to wait for the CJM’s decision and adjourned the hearing to July 3.
The complaint involved alleged use of psychotropic drugs under the NDPS Act.
