Devil May Cry Netflix Anime is Toxic Slop By Someone Who Hates Gaming

Adi Shankar created the Devil May Cry anime for Netflix and it is getting torn to shreds by fans of the gaming series and anyone with a drop of taste. Cramming in allegories that demons are misunderstood migrants and evoking Bush Era nation building complete with a Green Day backing track has nothing to do with the adventures of Dante. It's a pathetic man wearing the skinsuit of a successful franchise telling his own awful story he couldn't otherwise get off the ground.

Due to the success of A Minecraft Movie, get used to more beloved games getting a similar treatment.
