Long before America gained its independence, a remarkable commitment emerged to establish this nation—a testament to the vision and perseverance of our Founding Fathers and Revolutionaries. Their journey was far from smooth; it surged and receded, not unlike the challenges we face today. Victories were hard-won, setbacks endured, yet the war they fought was one they could not afford to lose—a sentiment that resonates with the critical battles we confront now.
On March 23, 2025, we quietly observed the 250th anniversary of Patrick Henry’s stirring call to action, “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death,” delivered on March 23, 1775, to the Second Virginia Convention at St. John’s Church in Richmond, Virginia. In recognition of this milestone, President Trump issued an official Proclamation, celebrating Henry’s unwavering resolve as a champion of American independence. The Proclamation honors this iconic speech, urging us to “to ring that great bell of American freedom and to propel our Nation into a new and radiant golden age.”
Words like Henry’s should ignite a fire within us all—to rise, to strive, and to Do Better.
