My name is David Daniel Ball.

I’m back from my Wi-Fi-less hiatus. For the last five months, my journey has taken me from East Gippsland, cow country, to the Tanami Desert, land of scorpions, snakes, and cane toads. And flies. Lots of flies. I’m hoping to share Lajamanu culture in a positive way.
Strangers who don’t know Lajamanu but hear stories of a remote community ask why I chose to come here. I talk about the last episode of Season 1 of The Chosen. In it, Jacob buys land intending to dig a well. A curious passerby asks about Jacob’s people and ways, noting he can’t see idols. Jacob remarks that his God doesn’t allow idols. The curious passerby loses patience: “An invisible God who has done nothing for you but has hurt you? I don’t know why you chose Him.” But Jacob’s sons have struck water the passerby had said wasn’t there. Jacob answers the stranger, “We didn’t choose Him. He chose us.”

I feel similarly about Lajamanu. She chose me. And I’m glad she did. There is adversity, but life here is rewarding.

Editorial: How the JFK Inquiry Was Sidelined
I believe Lee Harvey Oswald was innocent of any crime in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He was set up a month before, in Mexico, where it’s alleged he met with Soviet assassin paymasters, but he was instead in the USA trying to claim his service entitlements. He was set up when he was arrested. His wallet was found near the corpse of Officer Tippit, but when he was arrested shortly after in a movie theater, he had his own wallet.

A congressional inquiry, tied to the release of JFK documents promised by Trump in his first term but stymied by the Deep State—and still not released despite Trump declassifying them—asked some people irrelevant questions. Maybe nobody now knows who killed Kennedy or the full organization behind it. Maybe LBJ organized it, as he spent a month planning the motorcade. But what we can know is how the cover-up came to be. Oswald being innocent suggests the cover-up was extensive. Give us the declassified files. Now.

Similarly, we know Sirhan, a Christian Palestinian, was innocent. We know RFK was killed from behind, probably by his bodyguard. Meanwhile, Sirhan only shot at RFK from the front. The crime scene was badly sanitized. We want those files now, as an innocent party is being held behind bars today. A day in jail for an innocent man is too long. Six decades? And still, the Governor of California keeps him locked up.

So currently, the inquiry has been sidelined by deep staters asking irrelevant questions.
