Daniel 7:25-27
And he shall speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days] and the law; and the saints shall be given into his hand for a time, two times, and half a time [three and one-half years].
But the judgment shall be set [by the court of the Most High], and they shall take away his dominion to consume it [gradually] and to destroy it [suddenly] in the end.
And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions shall serve and obey Him.

04/08/25 I had a dream

Three young men were stuck in a country, that seemed like a rough, foreign nation. Dad, and I were there to help them get back home, because they were stranded. Dad told me to go to the consulate, to get them visas or passes to leave the country, and I went.

There was an administrator, who sat at a very tall desk, and I went through a complicated process to obtain three visas for them. The administrator told me, “make sure you write down the names accurately on these forms, or you will have to come back And start the process all over again to acquire new forms.

I took the three visas up to a decrepit apartment complex, in a rough area where the three men waited. I wrote the first man’s name on the visa, and then I asked him for his birth certificate to make sure that the name was correct. But, I was surprised to see a different first name when he handed me his birth certificate. So, I scratched out the first name on the visa and cleverly wrote in the name from his birth certificate in a way, which was a noticeable that the first name had been scratched out.

I handed the completed traveling visa to him, and gave him instructions to meet my dad at the airport, who was waiting, to give the three men tickets to fly back home. He met dad at the airport, flew out right away, and he was the first one to make it back home.

I filled out the next visa for the second man because I knew him, I was certain about his name. But, I asked him for his birth certificate anyway; and when he gave it to me, I was shocked because his first name was totally different, just like the first man’s name was different. I scratched out his name on the Visa, and wrote the second name down, and I asked; “are you sure this is it?“

I was handed a blue card with a different name on it, with frustration I scratched out the second name, but now the visa looked unusable and sloppy; and I thought I would have to go all the way back to the administrator for another visa.

I looked at the blue card and I was surprised to see the name Ferbur written and an equally dorky middle name. Then I was handed another blue card with the name of his brother on it: Ebur.

I was so surprised at the brother’s names: Ferbur and Ebur. Then the Lord spoke to me; “these are the names that I wanted them to have, that they should have had. These three men would not be in these situations, if they would have had the right names.” These names were perfectly fitted for them.

The Lord showed me that with the geeky names that he intended for them: the bad friends, that led them down the pathways of smoking pot, disobedience, strange, thinking, and all manner of wrongdoing, would not have accepted these men because of their funny names. In fact, the weight of ridicule of their names from an early age would have kept them on the straight and narrow road, leaving the true pathway of friendship open to the right children – who would like them for them, and honor the gifts that God put inside of them.

As I woke up, God revealed to me more: the parents of these men had the Lord reveal to them what the names of their children should be, that he dropped the names into the parents hearts; but the parents rejected the names, because others laughed at the names, or because they thought the names were odd and wouldn’t be received, or because they named their children a certain way because of tradition.

Either way, the parents rejected the Lord’s name for their children, and that sent them down a wrong pathway.

Then the Lord brought me to the story of Abram and how He changed his name to Abraham; and how He changed Jacob‘s name to Israel – just how important names are.

The Lord reminded me of the story of Zachariah, who the angel of the Lord visited when his wife Elizabeth was pregnant. Zachariah, was told that his son’s name will be “John.“ But, Zachariah resisted, and his mouth was shut for the entire pregnancy of Elizabeth. And after the child was born, he was asked what his son’s name would be, and his mouth was opened by the Lord, as he said, “John. His name shall be John.“ This story clearly illustrates the importance of naming children as God wants it. His purposes are beyond our understanding.

The Lord showed me that Each of these men in my dream had backslidden, or gone into strange teachings, or haven’t fully come to Christ yet. That even though they have been stuck far away from home, from the Lord, as in the metaphor of a foreign country, they will come back home. They will come to the Lord.
