"Dan Best started the Republican Outreach email newsletter in part because, as a new resident in Virginia five years ago, it was very difficult to find information on Republican organizations and activities, not to mention candidates. Now, the goal is to use multiple electronic media outlets to help network conservatives and conservative organizations in Frederick and other surrounding counties. The weekly Republican Outreach newsletter, which focuses on local issues and politics, reaches an estimated 1,000 to 2,000 conservatives per week and serves to educate and alert residents to issues that directly affect us.

Dan Best and Winchester City Councilwoman Emily Windle have also collaborated in creating the www. RepublicanOutreachVA.com website to help Frederick County and City of Winchester residents learn about the local and Commonwealth of Virginia political processes, "which are not easy to understand," according to Best.
