A good message is like a good song. It’s meant to be played over and over.

It was John Wesley who said, a preacher does not know the full impact of a message until he had taught that particular message fifty times.

How would a local pastor preach a message that many times, unless his readers in this case would bear with him.

With a few deletions and a few additions I offer a reply from an earlier message.

My dear dear friends we have been in the dark for six months. Some of y’all weren’t here on this channel six months ago.

We were studying the Psalms and had just reached Psalm 23:4.

I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.

Is not this the dark valley we have been traveling through.
Six months ago we had just passed through the near miss of the assassins bullet.

The Demoncrats had had their Convention to choose Kamal Harris. She is a man, born a male.
To me, pretending to be a woman, means [tHey] are not being honest about who they are, falsely pretending/portraying, acting like a woman.
Might that be the reason why the definition of a woman is so skewed.
What else is she lying about?
What a bizarre time. A man running for President, running as a woman.

It was our shared reality to go through the valley of the shadow of death.
•
I heard a preachers illustration years ago, it has stuck with me these many many years.

A school boy was sent off to a faraway school of 10 miles away. These were the days before the automobile and lighted streets.

Each week, on Monday morning, he had to make the trip on foot to his school, where he received room and board.

The worst part of the trip was the trip home, late on Friday. There was a wood of towering pines, he was obliged to pass through, just before he arrived at home. It was the darkest part of the walk home.

He always felt like something or someone was intently watching him. One evening he emboldened himself and began to call out to whatever, whoever it is who was hidden on the side of the road.

His Father had been laying in waiting, watching, ensuring his safety through the darkest part of his journey.

Now listen to verse four: I will fear no evil, You, Father are with me. Your ROD, to ward off wild EVIL beasts,
Your STAFF to point me in the WAY everlasting, righteousness and holiness.
Realizing we are going through a dark place, I take comfort knowing you are near.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil;

And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the Lord.

You’re almost to the other side.
The moon light is beginning break through.
We are about to step into the Golden Age.

Verses Five and Six is a masterpiece made for our age.
God prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
Your enemies my enemies, are the same as God’s enemies.
God prepares a meal, a meal for you and I.
I can smell the sweet aroma corn bread wafting on the gentle breeze.
The warm lights of home are twinkling through the tree boughs.

We enter our home. A warm meal is warming on the stove.
We have entered God’s promised rest for our souls.

I like what the KING JAMES, says at the end of verse nine.
“Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

But Jesus taught his disciples. “You are no longer servants but my friends.

15 I do not call you servants any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you [My] friends, because I have revealed to you everything that I have heard from My Father.

16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative] He may give to you.

17 This [is what] I command you: that you love and unselfishly seek the best for one another.

Verse 17 is especially note worthy for you and I.

It is our commitment, our relationship, our COMMANDMENT while living in the New Earth.

We should have been doing this within the CHURCH BODY but it will be the ONE COMMANDMENT in the NEW EARTH REALM.

The Quartets would sing in Baptist churches or holiness churches, it didn’t matter to them.

They loved to hear the people shouting Amen, hallelujah and Praise the Lord. They all ran the isles, waving their hankies in the air.

The people were from the land, simple folk, who had nothing to prove to any man.
They lived like they died, simple people, hand to mouth.

They ate what the good Lord provided. They took what the good Lord provided and were thankful.

Most people today are not thankful. It is one complaint after another. It is hard to listen to them.
Oh, that my people were thankful.
