In first, Kyiv captures Chinese troops fighting within Russian army -Zelensky shares hostages' video

Ukraine has captured two Chinese mercenaries in its eastern Donetsk region, marking the first evidence of Chinese soldiers' involvement in Russia's war of invasion against Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy shared the video of one of the Chinese captives being interrogated by Ukrainian army. In a post in social media, Zelenskiy clarified that the Ukrainian side had the documents, bank cards and personal data of the captured Chinesd soldiers. The Ukrainian leader demanded an urgent response from China and instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to immediatelymore than two such Chinese citizens in the occupier's units," Zelensky wrote, adding that China's direct or indirect involvement in this war in Europe is a clear signal that Putin is going to do anything but end the war. The Ukrainian president called on the United States, Europe "and everyone in the world who wants peace" to respond to what happened. Zelenskiy said the captured Chinese citizens were being held by the Security Service of Ukraine, known as SBU.
