Five Components of the Restored-Icon Model

Components of the Restored-Icon Model:
1. Satan provokes mankind’s fall.
2. The incarnate God attaches all aspects of the human condition to his divinity, thereby healing the human condition.
3. The incarnate God allows himself to die by crucifixion.
4. The incarnate God rises from the dead, healing human mortality.
5. Human beings then become progressively divinized (“theosis”).
