The Fall of the House of IHOP

Aesop is said to have coined the phrase, “familiarity breeds contempt.” In today’s parlance, it tends to mean the initial respect or awe we have for someone or something diminishes. We have watched celebrity Christian leaders lose their fear of God, ignore accountability, and use their position to manipulate others, including sexual manipulation of women under their care as shepherds. Pastor Keith Gibson suggests that the evidence that IHOP was not a healthy place was obvious very early.
