Midwest Canal Fishing was something I slept on for many years. But these fertile, shallow, calm, isolated waterways can be surprisingly productive when it comes to largemouth bass fishing. This was only my second trip to a new canal fishing location, and boy... it was a doozy!

What a way to start off May... 66° water temp and overcast all day.
