EVEN WHEN WE'RE OLD, GREY HAIRED AND WRINKLED
Luke 12:6-7 New King James Version
6 “Are not five sparrows sold for two [a]copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY PRECIOUS ONES!!!
You know guys I really found what Kenneth Petersen, this morning's devotional writer, said about the issue of aging, rather fascinating, but also truthful. I especially found that Danish study interesting, but also comical as well as truthful. However, as Kenneth said so very well, “It doesn't take a scientific study to state the obvious: we're all growing older.” All I can say on that is, “Duh!” However, in the midst of everything I am learning every day to see that God's hand is with me. That God is with me always, even at 55. 😊
I think that's why I find these questions from this morning's devotional both challenging and encouraging to my heart, and I had to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God speaks to your heart through them too.
In what ways do you wrestle with concerns about aging?
How do you find comfort in Isaiah’s words?
Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me not just from this passage of scripture, but others on the precious promise that God is with us through every age of our lives, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you encourages you to see the reality that God is with you, even when you're 94. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn for yourself that God will always be with you even when you're old, grey/white-haired, and wrinkled! 😊
So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you think about what I've said, and that you choose to trust that God is there for you no matter what your age. That as you Stew and fret about growing older, remember the precious fact that God will be with you. He promises in His Word, that He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:6), and that as Kenneth states so very well, “Whatever age you are (Or the 20 percent younger version of you imagine yourself to be!) Embrace today God's promise: “I have made you and I will carry you” (V.4).” Bottom line, my friends, God will always be with us, even when we are old, grey/white-haired, wrinkled, using a walker, and/or in a wheelchair.
