"According to South African media, Zelenskyy purchased the platinum mining company Northam Platinum LTD for 27 billion rand, approximately $1.6 billion USD, just before his upcoming visit to South Africa on April 10th. Miners reported that they were informed a couple of weeks ago about their new owner. It seems Zelenskyy has decided to make his own rare earth metals deal. Besides platinum, Northam Platinum also mines palladium, rhodium, and other elements."
