Re: Adolescence

Adolescence is a new mini series that has attracted attention from many online. In this review, I explore what the series got right, what it got wrong and how many people may be overlooking some critical details. I also touch on how this series is nothing new, but a retelling of another story from several years ago.

Adolescence is more a story about how the system is designed to fail those who it's trying to protect. The accused, Jamie Miller, is bullied relentlessly to the point where he ends a fellow student. Afterwards, the legal system throws the Miller's into a whirlwind of suffering as the actions of Jamie have immense consequences.

This review is to point out what others may have missed and what the intended and unintended reactions of a series like this might be.
