Spring Kayak Fishing the Holston River

My first trip to the main Holston River in East Tn. for 2025 and it doesn't disappoint! 3 of us landed 46 total with several fish in the 15" to 19" range! I landed them on Ned rig, swimbaits and on several colors of the Skywalker Crankbaits. I also had my first trip with the Newport Vessels NK180PRO on my Bonafide PWR 129. As you can see in the video it did really well going up river with a good bit of current and on flat water it ran at 6 mph. Enjoy the video!
