A clip has resurfaced online of Ursula von der Leyen accepting an honorary doctorate degree from Ben-Gurion University. Remember that Ursula von der Leyen was the former Minister of Defense in Germany, and since 2019 has been the president of the European Commission. She was named by Forbes as the “most powerful woman in the world” in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
