I think this is an underappreciated dynamic. Every single Republican in Congress. Is terrified of Elon Musk dropping $3 million in their district in a primary to take him out. Donald Trump is relying heavily on Elon Musk’s money for his political operation, and this is how they intend to pass. Their. Legislative agenda, basically with threats. Of. Coming in and primarying people. So they’re happy to see him go. They just need to be. Very delicate about. Doing it so that they’ll keep having access. To his enormous. Fortune and the way that helps them win elections.”
