Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon Ep 1 - Jailbreak Begins (Q2 2025)

Welcome to Q2 2025! In Q1, we had a blast with Return to Moria, but for Q2, I had another game lined up—until Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon caught my eye again. I was gifted a copy by the devs last year, livestreamed it, and played a bit before setting it aside to let it develop further. With the latest update bringing big changes, the timing felt perfect to dive back in and see what’s new—and how it compares to my first impressions.

In this episode, I create a new character named Bella (not the most original name, I know) and start her journey in a grim jail. I explore how the jailer’s questions shape your starting stats and playstyle, encounter a mysterious man with keys, and begin my escape—gathering items, reading lore, and facing a few threats along the way. I also meet two very odd prisoners who might not be all there anymore. Join me to see what’s changed in this dark fantasy adventure and what Bella’s journey has in store!
