📖 John 11 – The Raising of Lazarus 🕊️
This reading of John 11 verses 1-44 tells the powerful and emotional story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, a pivotal moment in the Gospel and one of the most profound miracles recorded in Scripture. Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha, had been dead for four days before Jesus arrived in Bethany. Despite their grief, the sisters express a deep faith in Jesus, even as they struggle to understand why He delayed coming.

When Jesus finally arrives, He does something extraordinary: He weeps. This moment shows His deep compassion and humanity—He shares in the pain and sorrow of His friends. Then, in a stunning display of divine authority, Jesus calls Lazarus out of the tomb, restoring him to life before a stunned crowd.

💡 How Does It Relate to Us Today?
The story of Lazarus reminds us:
God’s timing isn’t always ours 🕰️—but His love never fails ❤️.
Even in moments that feel hopeless, God can bring new life 🌱.
Jesus meets us in our grief and pain. He weeps with us, walks with us, and then calls us into life 🕯️.

This passage invites us to trust, even when we don’t understand. To hope, even in darkness. And to believe, even when it’s hard.

❓What’s something in your life that feels “dead” right now—and how might God be calling it back to life?
