Elon Musk: Do we want to go out there in the universe?

“Do we have a spirit of adventure? Do we want to go out there and see the rest of the universe? Do we want to find out what's out there and maybe meet some alien civilizations? Do we want science fiction to not be fiction forever?

If so, we need to be a multiplanet species. That's the next step. And then, we can go from there to being a multistellar species and get to other star systems.”
