5-6 portion. 1 & 1/2 - 1 & 3/4 hours cooking time from simmer start.

6 lb. beef shin with bone, 5 oz. onion, 1 doz. button mushrooms, 6 garlic cloves, 1 & 1/2 lb. vine ripe tomato, 1 T. paprika, 3 oz. celery, 2 T. oregano, 2 T. Worcestershire sauce, 4 oz. green pepper, 3 oz. carrots, 1 c. dry red wine, add a small amount of water.
