B-ham Hands Off Demo Against D.O.G.E. and recent Mt Baker Roofing ICE Raids - April 5th, 2025

Gathering off of the City Hall of Bellingham, a much anticipated nation string of Left Wing demonstrations kicked off in particular focus in Bellingham following a April 1st/2nd raid on the Whatcom County located Mt. Baker Roofing company.

The 100+ employee operated business served for roofing, installation, and general maintenance around the area, and over 37 of their employees were improperly documented and taken by ICE following this citation for a federal sting on Illegal Immigrant employment.

Many left wing and Student/Government Employee groups joined in after being incited by the Raids on the Bellingham business, and have made other issues part of the conversation because of the overlap of this topics aid groups being targeted along with others relating not relating with immigration but as popularly support pillars in left leaning coalition voting groups.

The activists have been part of a paid-to-rent demo circuit organized by numerous networks and activist groups including Indivisible Bellingham: they have been targeting and grown vitriol that's lead to Tesla locations attacks. The rhetoric has lead to acts of assault and vandalism on Drivers and their vehicles especially along the I-5 and WA state as reciprocity against Elon Musk's DOGE audits as well as Trumps cutting of USAID Networks. These featured programs that were given Grants and money networks by the Federal Government for services like Migration Services and Trans Medical Lobbying, in some cases both in the same programs.

This took place on April 5th at both the City Hall as well as the Peace Protest intersection by Railroad Ave in downtown Bellingham. Moments were shown when the latter event planners joined the City Hall location halfway through the demonstration.

Thounds were seen including LGBTQ activists and open Seattle organizers and University Alumni who took part indirectly or even in mere attendance among the Whatcom and out of country occupants of the demonstration space.

During the demo, there were attempts to take the microphone people shouted "Hands Off" in organized shouting followed by the Trans speaker reading off a poem. Also, a demonstrator have collapsed, though the cause was unknown but she was wheeled out on a stretcher later on in the film.
