Two Groups

It's easy to look at the sin of others and not fully grasp the depths of our own depravity. The pharisees in Jesus' day were like majestic eagles; they were dedicated to God's work and carrying out the laws of Moses and had pride in their appearances. Just as vultures are known for chasing carcasses, tax collectors would prey on the vulnerable in wicked and terrible ways. Which group are you in? Luke 18:9-14, Matthew 21:28-32, Romans 5:21-21, and Romans 6:1-4.

Correction at minute 2:07: "Luke 21" should be "Matthew 21."
