Thousands marched in Washington DC in support Indigenous Palestinian people.

Freedom for Mahmoud Khalil. Freedom for Jeanette Vizguerra, Freedom for students and migrants.

"We are marching on ICE! Join us in Washington, DC this Saturday to bring the message directly to the headquarters of the agency most directly responsible for carrying out Trump’s wave of repression against student activists who took a stand against genocide. After gathering at Pennsylvania Ave and 3rd St NW at 1PM, we will march to ICE HQ.

We will demand freedom for Mahmoud Khalil, Rumeysa Ozturk, and Badar Khan Suri, and all students targeted by the Trump administration, and send a powerful message that the people of this country reject Trump’s crackdown on the right to protest, just like we reject our tax dollars being used to massacre people in Gaza!

Everyone who believes in the First Amendment and opposes genocide needs to be in DC on April 5.

April 5, 2025. 1pm

"“NOTHING CAN CHANGE OUR WORLD EXCEPT US. MARCH AND BE LOUD, MARCH AND STOP THIS GENOCIDE.”

For the past 17 months, the journalists of Gaza have worked tirelessly to bring the reality in Gaza to our screens. They have withstood countless attacks, threats, and systematic targeting by the occupation forces. If not for these brave journalists, billions around the world would have not have known the horrors that the occupation has inflicted onto Palestinians in Gaza throughout the past 17 months.

Journalists like Anas Al-Sharif, Hossam Shbat and Bisan Owda have served as the moral compass of Palestine. However, because of their bravery, over 200 journalists have been martyred by the occupation for attempting to shed a light on the Palestinian struggle.

We are asking you to listen to Bisan’s words again and take the streets with us on April 5th at 1 PM in Washington DC as we demand the protection of every journalist in Gaza and honor our martyrs," said the Palestinian Youth Movement before the event.
