Make Money Trading this April

Welcome back to our weekly video series on making money trading. This week, in this [Make Money Trading this April] video , our focus is on April and its historical seasonality for trading. We have a link to an Investopedia article that we typically use for our research. Last week, we discussed the general spring season, and this week we will be honing in on April. As we can see, historically, April has been the most positive month of the spring season. From 2000 to 2024, the stock market has seen an increase of 1.7%, and from 1928 to 2024, it has been positive at 1.3%. It has consistently been the best performing month during the spring season, with an upward trend in February, followed by a slightly negative March, and then a significant uptrend in April. However, with the recent news of Trump's tariffs, this trend may be challenged.

Right now, we are in a significant bearish trend, and March may end up being a negative month, which goes against its historical performance. The "sell in May and go away" crowd may have already started selling in anticipation of the tariffs, and may hold off on investing again until they see the impact of the tariffs.
