Cars vanish as life-threatening floods hit Southern Missouri

Several videos showed heavy rainfall and severe flooding on Friday (April 4) in West Plains, Missouri, as storms in the U.S. South and Midwest ripped across a swath of the country.

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a 'moderate' risk warning for storms on Friday (April 4) as a deadly spring storm continues to affect areas from Texas to Ohio, having already killed at least seven people and spawned tornadoes and drenching thunderstorms.
