Deoria, UP: Fire Destroys Several Acres of Standing Wheat Crop Near Peedra Village

A major fire broke out in the slum area of Bahlolpur, Sector 63, Greater Noida, on Saturday morning, engulfing several shanties in flames. At least 10 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and are currently engaged in firefighting operations. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported so far.

Local police also responded swiftly, helping to rescue several residents from the blaze. A viral video on X shows thick black smoke billowing from the site, visible from several kilometers away.

This comes just a day after another fire incident was reported at a manufacturing unit in Surajpur, Greater Noida. No casualties were reported in that case either, and the cause of both fires is still under investigation.
