Budget Build Apothecary - Mobile Home Remodel

We converted some of the least expensive lumber into a focal wall in the kitchen. Marti's kitchen design includes one large wall of countertop and shelves that provide an ideal area for working with dried herbs, tinctures, oxymels, ferments, and teas. This is not a normal part of a modern kitchen, but we are working on returning to the land, labor, and life. Our goals lead us to the need for this type of workspace in the kitchen to help us maximize the benefits of the medicinal plants we labor to collect. This is a very functional area of our homestead kitchen, and we want the construction to reflect that functionality, so we kept it simple and functional with an artistic flourish that does not detract from that functionality.
