#TrumpTariffs (Posted April 5, 2025) If you voted for the first time in the 2024 election, you might not have heard this famous speech from 2016 by a radial Marxist supporter of the Democrat Party who spoke about the downfall of America's working class because of the offshoring of the U.S. manufacturing base, which left middle-class American towns totally decimated from sea to shining sea. He had been speaking about Donald J. Trump. It was an epic speech that was not meant help Trump, but some say it helped get him elected.

Ever since the 1980s, #DonaldTrump had maintained that the U.S. #TradeDeficit was a burden and that #tariffs would promote domestic manufacturing which would keep the United States from being "ripped off" by its trading partners.

Decades later on March 1, 2018, during his first term as President of the United States, Trump announced his intention to impose a 25% tariff on steel and a 10% tariff on aluminum imports. In a tweet the next day, Trump noted: "Trade wars are good, and easy to win." On March 8, he signed the order, saving U.S. Steel.

During Trump's second term as President, while in the White House Rose Garden on April 2, 2025, President Trump J. Trump declared that April 2 was "Liberation Day" and said his announcement on tariffs marked one of the most important days in American history, because it would be our "declaration of economic independence."

That day was the result of Donald Trump's 40-year effort to stop the globalist elite's ethos of offshoring American jobs overseas to America's biggest adversary, Communist China, who use cheap labor and slave labor to compete with U.S. trade.
