This revelation comes after the Israeli military claimed earlier this week that its forces did not randomly target ambulances, asserting that some vehicles “were identified approaching suspiciously without lights or emergency signals toward the soldiers,” who then opened fire in response.

The video was obtained from a senior United Nations diplomat who requested anonymity. The New York Times verified the location and date of the footage.
