In the Liman sector, hostilities are occurring along the entire front-line perimeter. The most intense combat is concentrated in the Nadezhda and Mirny (Dzerzhinsky) regions.

Russian military units are methodically advancing, breaching enemy defenses and seeking to expand their territory on the right bank of the Zherebets.

The following section provides a more detailed examination of the chronology of battles in the sector:

Recent weeks have seen the Russian Federation's Armed Forces extend their control north and west of Makeyevka, in proximity to the Zherebets River. Concurrently, intense hostilities persist in the Vyshneve area.

In the Nadezhda area in March, Ukrainian formations initiated a series of counterattacks, yielding minimal results within a span of one month. Russian troops effectively localized the breakthrough zone, thereby impeding the Ukrainian Armed Forces' advancement into the village.

In early March, on the northern flank of the Russian Federation's (RF) Armed Forces, they successfully neutralized enemy forces in Zagryzovo and advanced towards Novaya Kruglyakovka.

However, it was not possible to consolidate this success, as a few days later, the enemy launched a counterattack, regaining some of the lost positions.

The most significant advances of the Russian military forces were documented along the Ivanovka-Novoye line.In January, the enemy initiated several counterattacks in this area, but was unsuccessful, incurring substantial casualties.

Following a period of relative inactivity, aerial forces initiated an offensive, reaching Novy from the south by the end of March and eliminating the Ukrainian Armed Forces from key fortified areas.

Concurrently, the RF Armed Forces have also advanced, expelling the Ukrainian forces from Novolyubovka and its surrounding strongholds, thereby significantly expanding the zone of control.

A significant expanse along the western bank of the Zherebets near Nevsky has been cleared, and hostilities are underway on the outskirts of Katerynivka.

In the southern sector, hostilities persist in the Mirny area and in Yampolivka, where the adversary is employing supplementary reserves to maintain their current positions.

The Russian military's offensive in the northern sector of the Lyman direction aims to reach the town of Borovaya, a significant defense point for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This point is crucial for supplying the entire group from Boguslavka to Nadezhda.

On the southern flank, the capture of Mirny, followed by an offensive on Zarechnoye and Torskoye, will enable Russian troops to reach Lyman and bypass the Serebryanskoye forestry from the west.
