NT Framework 81 Sealing

SBC Family,

This year our theme is prayer and we have a new memory verse this week. It’s a great verse because it reminds us that without God’s help we can’t spread the gospel to people. We need his enablement in every area of life.

Tomorrow we will study the work of the Spirit known as sealing. This is an important doctrine that has some wonderful implications about our eternal security. There are only a few passages about this work. However, it is a very important work. See the attached handout and I hope to see you tomorrow!

Don’t forget to pray for our new people and to go up and introduce yourself. All it takes is telling them “Hi, my name is X, what is your name?” Make sure and say their name back to them and then say it to yourself again when you sit down so that you will be more apt to recall their name. Put it in your phone if you’re a real diehard fanatic about knowing people’s names. I usually do this. If you go back and read their name that week and pray for them then you will usually remember their name.
