This is my first video of changing the oil in my 3.0 V6 Toyota Avalon. Its the 2000 model and this is my personal favorite. To sum it up, secure the vehicle and life it off the ground. Remove the dipstick and oil cap. You will need to get under the car and locate the bottom of the engine and find the oil drain plug. Unscrew the plug and drain the oil into a drip pan. Then locate the filter and screw that too. Do no let any oil land on the ground. if you do its not to bad just clean it up properly with cat litter or floor dry. Put the plug back in and install the new filter. Add the proper amount of oil and check the level by letting the car run for 30 seconds or so.
