Not falling for FEARMONGERING this time round

Screwtape (C.S.Lewis) no longer needs to teach Wormwood how to disguise himself in order to deceive humans, his patients. Juan Manuel de Prada, a Spanish writer, wrote a few years ago, during the Pandemic, an update to this masterpiece by C.S.Lewis (published in 1942, in the middle of the Second World War). Prada claims that Screwtape is now old and retired, and Wormwood, now in his prime - no longer that apprentice his uncle - Screwtape - had written advice letters to - now Wormwood no longer needs disguises, embellishments, to deceive us into thinking that 'bad' is 'good'. Now 'Bad' is 'Good'. He takes it from there.
What happened to all of us in 2020 when we were all confined at home? How did our elderly died, alone?
