PASTOR ARRESTED AT TORONTO SANTA CLAUS PARADE!

On November 26, 2023, authorities arrested Pastor Jeffrey Sapocinik at the Santa Claus Parade in Toronto and charged him under Section 176(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada. He spent the night in jail because he would not agree to the release conditions that would have restricted him from entering a significant area of Toronto, including the whole of the downtown core. He eventually agreed not to use any form of voice amplification until the trial date.

By the grace of God, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms agreed to fund his case. After 16 long months, his trial date was scheduled for April 3, 2025. The Crown Prosecutor suggested dropping the charge a day before the trial, saying it wasn't in the public interest to proceed. Praise the Lord, the charges were withdrawn and justice was served.
