Gameplay Part 16
Part 1 of Phantom Liberty

Returning to Night City as cyber-enhanced mercenary V, you'll embark on a high-stakes mission of espionage as you attempt to save Myers -- former CEO of Militech and current NUS President -- who has crash-landed in the dangerous district of Dogtown while traveling on the Space Force One. Ruled by a trigger-happy militia, Dogtown will test your limits as you'll be forced to forge alliances within a web of shattered loyalties and sinister political machinations.

In this playthrough we cover:

Dog Eat Dog: V is contacted by Songbird, a mysterious netrunner tied to the President of the NUSA, and instructed to travel to Dogtown under the guise of a weapon smuggler. Upon arrival, V witnesses the authoritarian rule of Kurt Hansen, Dogtown’s warlord, and sets the stage for a covert operation to intercept a high-value convoy.

Hole in the Sky: The mission takes a violent turn when the NUSA spaceplane carrying President Rosalind Myers is shot down over Dogtown. V battles through Hansen’s forces to reach the crash site, where they find Songbird injured and Myers alive. V agrees to protect the President and escort her through hostile territory.

Spider and the Fly: As V and Myers flee the crash site, they’re relentlessly pursued by Hansen’s elite forces and an experimental Chimera mech. After a high-octane escape and a brutal showdown, V successfully disables the mech. Myers takes V to a hidden NUSA safehouse and tasks them with tracking down her missing agent, Solomon Reed.

Lucretia My Reflection: V and President Myers take refuge in a hidden NUSA bunker in Dogtown. After restoring power, V fends off armed intruders, Jacob and Taylor, who breached the facility. Once secure, Myers instructs V to find Solomon Reed, her former operative, to help with the mission, under NUSA oath.
