UMP Modifieds at Diamond Grove

A National career race at Diamond Grove Raceway on Expert difficulty. This tiny bullring starts off with good traction, but after qualifying the track gets slick fast from the bottom through the middle. The slick can be bad if you have to lift off too long, as it will tighten your car up a lot. Come feature time it is either very low line or the high line. The bottom line is very narrow, and the top line has a smaller window before in the marbles. Traffic navigation is kinda a pain here. There is not a lot of room to get around cars, so get your nose below them before entering the corner or go topside. Not a favorite track of mine by far.

Far more bumping and banging here than I prefer, but better than the last time I ran here. This race had 3 cautions. The first caution was for a spun Ray Bollinger which I barely clipped, but 2nd place Ken Schrader piled right into him. The 2nd caution Tyler Nicely and Rick Conoyer got together, sending Nicely spinning. The 3rd and final caution was for Jacob Marker, who appeared to loop it on his own.
