Well, this is what we get for forgetting the covers on the TPS reports too many times. Join us as we discuss the first few weeks of this Presidency and the practical reasoning behind what we are seeing right now. What we are seeing right now is an unusually large groundswell of political capital IN FAVOR of continuing this aggressive curbing of spending. It seems like the American electorate knew exactly what they wanted, they knew who was most likely to execute that plan and they are now very pleased to see their concerns being finally being taken seriously in DC. For most of our lives the “debate” around budget issues consisted of arguments about what the rate of INCREASE would be for the next ten years. We are seeing necessary cuts that are just beginning along with folks asking “why couldn’t have this been done sooner?”

One correction from this episode regarding the number of private sector jobs it takes to pay for 1 federal job was 120 in the year 2022. We regret the error!
