In November of 2024, I finally got to spend a full day at Luxor: the Temple of Man!

From 1937 to 1952, an alchemist, symbolist, mathematician and astrologer named R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz lived at this temple with his wife Isha, and they attempted to decipher its deepest levels of esoteric meaning. He found that it was an architectural template of the human form, and that when a full skeleton was laid over a map of the floor plan, it showed correspondences to each chamber's content. Each part of the temple represents a different organ or area of the body, and also, astrologically, each of the various celestial bodies that represents the respective qualities of that organ, within the Hermetic Zodiac. De Lubicz not only decrypted one of the most advanced steganographic puzzles on the planet, but he exhaustively measured, recorded and analyzed every single detail, and published his master work as two huge, fully illustrated volumes called 'The Temple of Man'.

He also studied the Temple of Karnak, which is about 1.5 miles from Luxor, connected directly by a long causeway of Sphinxes, and his third volume was titled, 'The Temples of Karnak'.
