Raising the Next Generation Outside

It’s true. Bringing a little one on the trail introduces all kinds of new challenges, but I haven’t let that stop me. Learning to overcome those challenges has been so rewarding! It makes me so sad hearing parents say they used to love hiking, but gave up on it once the kids came along. You definitely don’t have to venture off into untamed wilderness to get your family outside. There are plenty of other ways to foster a love for adventure in your kids. Like paddling, geocaching, bouldering, car camping… I could go on but I think you get the picture!
