'Trump Cannot Annex Another Country' Danish PM Visits Greenland, US Seeks To Allay NATO Concerns

Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said the US "cannot annex another country" as she visited the Danish autonomous region of Greenland that President Donald Trump has vowed to take over.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio dismissed talk of Washington's exit from NATO as "hysteria and hyperbole" even as he urged member states to increase defence spending to 5% of their GDP. NATO chief Mark Rutte dismissed concerns over a sudden US military withdrawal from Europe as Trump’s outreach to Russia and potential deal-making over Ukraine continue to alarm members.
