Canadian Moose

Canadian moose grow some of the largest antlers in the world, with mature bulls developing broad, palmate antlers that can span up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) across and weigh over 40 pounds (18 kg).

These antlers regrow annually, fueled by rapid vascularized velvet growth in summer, and are shed each winter after the mating season.

Antler size reflects the moose's health and age, playing a key role in dominance displays and mating competition.
