Taurus SPECTRUM 380 Semi-Auto Pistol Tabletop Review - Episode #202509

Taurus Spectrum 380 pocket pistol with its natural-looking curves, was offered in an extraordinarily wide selection of color combinations and hence the name “Spectrum”. It also has unusual soft over-molded polymer inserts (again, offered in different colors) at key points of the frame and slide of the gun. The purpose was to improve the shooter’s grip when firing and manipulating the gun without feeling sticky. Replacing the traditional slide serrations with these soft polymer pads within scalloped areas on the rear end of the slide along with the elimination of all sharp edges gives the Spectrum its unique look and feel.
