Highlighting internal Georgia GOP (GAGOP) tensions, noting it took nine days to deny Lisa Pierce’s 1st Vice Chair candidacy despite her meeting requirements, raising transparency concerns. Questions arose when Caroline Jeffords and JaQuon Stembridge applied for roles, with JaQuon set to appear on the show. In Cobb County, Sophia Farooq’s likely win for chair was thwarted when Mary Clarice Hathaway, a newcomer allegedly unqualified due to residency rules, was nominated instead—sparking suspicions of foul play. The GAGOP’s lack of openness with district and county leaders is criticized, alongside Josh McKoon’s silence on past incidents like VoterGA’s removal from a fish fry. Calls grow to remove McKoon as chair, challenging him to back Colton Moore and Harrison Floyd. Travis Bowden’s possible return as GAGOP executive director prompts questions about his funding and a $500 event fee.

It took 9 days for the GAGOP to deny Lisa Pierce after she successfully met the call for the intent to run as 1st Vice Chair.
If you are a district chair, county chair, state officer the GA GOP won’t tell you anything. What day and time did Caroline Jeffords put in her application and the date and time that JaQuon Stembridge put in his application. JaQuon will be on the program tomorrow so you can meet him.
Josh McKoon needs to answer some questions. There is a process for protest/challenge. You have to do it within a certain number of days. In Cobb county, there was an election for county chair and when it was clear that Sophia Farooq was going to win the seat they ran out and found a candidate, Mary Clarice Hathaway. Mary is new to the party and was not at the caucus meeting so when time came for election day she had to sit in the guest session. The nominating committee nominates Mary Clarice Hathaway for chair. Now the nominating committee should have looked at the rules that Cobb county requires to be the chair. Apparently Sophia didn’t get the signatures for the appeal.
It turns out that Mary Clarice Hathaway did not meet the residence requirements to hold the chair position. Who found Mary, who set it up? There is a lot of smoke around it if she was even qualified to run.
At the fish fry a couple of years ago, VoterGA was removed as a vendor. And a state committee member was wearing a Paper Ballots please tshirt. There were some decisions that the 8th district made. Josh McKoon did not make a comment on it. The story is coming next week. We have to remove this King as chair.
Challenge for Josh McKoon to show his support for Colton Moore and Harrison Floyd.
Travis Bowden will be the executive director of the GAGOP once again. Where is his revenue? Did Travis Bowden pay the $500 to be in the room the other night?
