First, I'd like to give a shout out to my friend Dukefrisco. While emailing back and forth, he came up with a topic (I won't explain, as it would be a spoiler) that resulted in this video. I'm more nervous about what his take will be on it, as even I have a lot of questions by the end of it...

In a world where love walks the line between protection and possession, "Momma's Chains" tells the haunting tale of a girl born of shadow, held tightly by the only person who ever loved her — and feared her. Set against surreal, hyper-real visuals and carried by a haunting melody, this visual narrative questions the boundaries between nurture and control, innocence and monstrosity.

Every frame is steeped in tension: warm sunlit kitchens hiding heavy chains, tender embraces shadowed by primal dread, and soft lullabies giving way to blood-moon howls. As day fades into night, so too does the girl fade into something else — something maybe not quite human.

Is she cursed, or chosen? A danger, or a victim? You decide.
