CIA Director Confirms Adam Schiff Manipulated Whistleblower During Trump’s 2019 Impeachment

John Ratcliffe, currently CIA Director since January 2025 and a former Trump ally, has reportedly confirmed that Senator Adam Schiff manipulated whistleblower Eric Ciaramella during Trump’s 2019 impeachment to remove the sitting president.

This ties to Ratcliffe’s earlier criticisms as a congressman, where he argued Schiff’s alleged contact with the whistleblower, as House Intelligence Committee chair, compromised the impeachment process.

The claim suggests Schiff acted improperly in overseeing an investigation where he was also a potential witness.
