Apple Cider Vinegar Fasting Drink - Fasting Accelerator is a video about my favorite apple cider vinegar fasting drink recipe.
I love using apple cider vinegar when fasting because it helps with satiety and balancing my blood sugar. When using apple cider vinegar doing intermittent fasting I feel better and also find that it amplifies the results of my intermittent fast.
The apple cider vinegar fasting recipe includes cinnamon, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, stevia, and pink Himalayan sea salt for added mineral. Apple cider vinegar health benefits are vast in number. Anything from weight loss to blood pressure, all the way to reversing chronic conditions have been reported by people who drink apple cider vinegar on a regular basis.
This apple cider vinegar recipe is my favorite. The only other thing I didn't mention in this video is that I will add a 1/2 of teaspoon of ginger sometimes. I didn't put it in because I find that I'm unique in liking it, but it is very good for inflammation.

Today, we’re going to talk about using rice water for hair growth. Fermented rice water is the best rice water for your hair. It takes 48 hours to make probiotic rice water!
Rice water contains B vitamins and amino acids essential for the hair. Fermented rice water contains pitera, a byproduct of fermentation often used in skin care. Pitera helps brighten the hair and also helps with dandruff and itchiness.
Fermented rice water contains lactic acid, which decreases dullness and frizziness. It also contains magnesium and selenium. Fermented rice water increases nitric oxide, which helps bring oxygen to the hair's root.
To make fermented rice water, combine 2 cups of organic rice in a bowl with 4 cups of water. Massage the rice with water and drain. Add 2 cups of water to the wet rice and allow the mixture to sit at room temperature for 2 hours. Strain the liquid into a glass jar and cover lightly.
After 48 hours, cover your fermented rice water with a lid and store it in the refrigerator. The cold temperature will slow down bacterial growth.
To use fermented rice water for your hair, apply it to your hair and scalp, leave it on for 20 minutes, and then rinse. Do this twice per week for hair growth and healthier hair.

Cortisol should be at its lowest point at 2 a.m., but for some, it’s at its highest! This can cause night waking and other sleep problems that can really interfere with your day. Sleep medication can worsen this problem by causing your cortisol to rise even more.
Magnesium glycinate before bed can help lower cortisol, which can help you sleep better at night. Twitching and cramping can signify a magnesium deficiency.
Low blood sugar can increase cortisol and cause you to wake up at night. If your diet is high in carbs, your blood sugar may decrease while sleeping, and your body will increase cortisol levels to normalize your blood sugar.
If you’re waking up at 2 a.m., evaluate what you ate the day before. Refined starches, MSG, alcohol, snacking, and eating late can disturb sleep.
Salt cravings can signify a sodium deficiency. Sodium helps lower cortisol, so add more sea salt to your meals throughout the day if you’re having salt cravings.
Here are a few other sleep tips that can help you sleep better at night:
•Avoid suspense and action movies before bed
•Avoid blue light before bed
•Get plenty of sunlight during the day
•Go for long walks
•Exercise to release excess energy
The liver detoxifies the body between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Night waking during this time frame could signify a problem with the liver. Milk thistle before bed can help.
Restless legs syndrome can be related to a B1 or magnesium deficiency. Lower your carb intake and increase your consumption of these nutrients. A high pulse rate could signify a potassium deficiency, which can also interfere with sleep.
Apple cider vinegar before bed can help stabilize blood sugar for better sleep, but make sure it’s diluted.

Taking the following drugs for an extended period of time may potentially increase your risk for dementia.
1. Drugs that block acetylcholine
This includes Benadryl, certain drugs for depression, and drugs that treat overactive bladder.
2. Benzodiazepine
Drugs such as Valium and Xanax treat anxiety, insomnia, and seizures, affecting the central nervous system and brain.
3. PPIs
Proton pump inhibitors, such as Prilosec and Nexium, that treat indigestion and heartburn may increase the risk of cognitive decline.
4. Opioids
Morphine, oxycodone, and other opioids that sedate the brain significantly affect cognitive function and may lead to dementia.
Hal Cranmer owns several assisted living homes and sees first-hand the consequences of giving someone several drugs at once. Many residents in assisted living homes are on 20 to 30 medications.
In Hal’s facilities, he focuses on providing his residents with a healthy diet and eliminating sugar and ultra-processed foods. Many of Hal’s residents have been able to get off their medication.
Multiple medications often involve multiple doctors with multiple viewpoints. Each doctor focuses only on specific parts and functions of the body rather than the body as a whole.
Adverse drug reactions are unexpected side effects directly caused by drugs. Around 90% are underreported. Adverse drug reactions are responsible for 10% of all hospital visits and are the 4th leading cause of death.
Dr. Roshani Sanghani, a board-certified endocrinologist, uses epocrates.com to help keep track of drug interactions. She points out the problem of specialists focusing on and prescribing treatment for one body part and not considering the patients’ other medications.
The biggest contributor to chronic disease is diet. Medications are often prescribed to treat the symptoms caused by consuming ultra-processed foods. A healthy diet can turn this cycle around.

1. Low-fat yogurt
Low-fat yogurt is typically high in sugar and often contains industrial food starches like modified food starch, modified corn starch, or maltodextrin. Starch is not sweet, so people consume much more than sugar. It’s higher on the glycemic index than sugar and is used to add bulk to a product.
2. Processed meat
Hot dogs contain industrial sugars such as corn syrup that will spike blood sugar. Adding sugar to meat creates advanced glycated proteins. Organic grass-fed beef hot dogs are a good option!
3. Atkins products
These products are marketed as low-carb and keto-friendly but contain very low-quality ingredients such as soy protein isolates, seed oils, GMOs, and synthetic fibers. These can cause bloating and diarrhea and also prevent fat loss.
5. Juice
Many products marketed as “juice” often only contain minimal amounts of fruit juice and have high amounts of sweeteners, such as high-fructose corn syrup. Juice from concentrate is devoid of nutrients. Fructose found in fruit juice can only be broken down by the liver, which can contribute more to a fatty liver than glucose.
6. Agave nectar
This sweetener seems healthy but is very high in fructose, which is hard on the liver. Coconut sugar and honey are better options but should be avoided when focusing on fat loss.
7. Mayonnaise
Processed mayo is mainly composed of soy oil. This type of fat is stored in the fat cells and isn’t burned by the body as quickly as saturated fat. Seed oils like soy oil may be at the root of chronic disease.

If someone dies from a heart attack or stroke, their death is typically the result of a clot. A clot can form in less than 5 seconds! Usually, your body should form a clot, fix the hole in the artery, then dissolve the clot, but this doesn’t always happen.
Clots can be caused by the following:
•Smoking
•Pollution/chemicals
•Alcohol
•Birth control pills
•Stress
•Surgery
•Endurance sports
•Refined starches
•Infection
•High blood sugar
•Inflammation
Excess calcium in the arteries can also trigger clotting, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke. Postmenopausal women who take large amounts of calcium are at a much greater risk for blood clots.
Calcium is involved in over 15 different clotting factors. Vitamin K2 prevents calcium from building up in the soft tissues and arteries. It is found in dairy, butter, and other fatty foods. Always take vitamin D with vitamin K2.

Today, I’m going to show you how to stop a dry cough, but these home remedies will also work for a mucus cough.
Most dry cough remedies involve medication that suppresses the cough. However, suppressing the cough is not always best because coughing is one of the body’s vital defense mechanisms.
A cough can result from a post-nasal drip caused by an allergy, cold, virus, or fungal infection. It can also be a side effect of certain medications or be related to GERD or asthma.
Many children have asthma because their mothers did not get enough vitamin D during pregnancy. Vitamin D is essential for lung formation. If a cough is caused by croup, vitamin D is also an excellent home remedy.
Some coughs are caused by low humidity. In this case, try a humidifier.
Laryngospasms can also cause a dry cough. These spasms are often caused by low calcium in the blood. A deficiency in vitamin D3 can cause low blood calcium. Take 20,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily if you’re dealing with a cough related to laryngospasms. Always take magnesium and vitamin K2 with vitamin D3.
Chronic dry cough can also be caused by perfumes, smoke, new furniture, or tic disorders.
NAC (n-acetyl-cysteine) is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that breaks up mucus in the lungs. To use NAC for a cough, dissolve ¼ teaspoon of NAC powder into 4 ounces of water. Once dissolved, add ⅛ teaspoon of magnesium in the form of Epsom salt. Add this liquid to a nebulizer and breathe in for 5 minutes, 1 to 2 times daily.
• Be sure to use food-grade Epsom salt.
• Make sure the NAC and Epsom salt are fully dissolved before nebulizing.
• Use sterile or distilled water to prevent contamination.
• Consult a healthcare professional before nebulizing any homemade solution.
Black seed oil and white horehound are also good home remedies for a cough if taken with vitamin D3, K2, magnesium, and zinc.

1. Cube boneless chicken thighs and marinate with salt, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin, and dried fenugreek for at least 15 minutes.
2. Blend garlic, ginger, onion, and tomato into a smooth puree and set aside.
3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil on high heat. Add chicken to the pan and cook on high for 2 minutes before flipping.
4. Add 4 tablespoons of salted butter to the pan with the chicken.
5. Add puree to the pan, cover with a lid, and continue to cook for 10 more minutes, stirring halfway through.
6. Turn off the stove and add 100 mL of cream.
7. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with Keto naan or cauliflower rice.

Did you know that the more you wear your glasses, the stronger prescription you’ll need?
Contrast sensitivity loss is an eye problem doctors don’t commonly check for. This condition affects the ability to differentiate between shades of grey, causing blurry vision, especially in low light.
Carotenoids are antioxidants that protect the eyes against blue light, chemicals, damage from diabetes, and more. However, as we age, carotenoids decrease, so eye protection also decreases. Full-spectrum light can be helpful but will not solve the problem.
To improve eyesight, you need to increase the efficiency of the retina. Sunlight is vital for eye and retina health. It allows UV and infrared light into the eye and can also help build up the eye’s melatonin.
You can increase carotenoids in the eye by consuming foods with lutein and zeaxanthin. Both carotenoids are found in egg yolks.
If you choose supplements with lutein and zeaxanthin, look for one with at least 10 mg of lutein and 2 mg of zeaxanthin. Research has shown significant improvement in macular degeneration and contrast sensitivity loss in people who took lutein and zeaxanthin for 12 weeks.
Ophthalmologist Dr. Chris Knobbe stresses the importance of removing seed oils from the diet and moving towards an ancestral diet for improved eyesight and eye health. Fatty fish like salmon contain omega-3s, which support eye health and reduce inflammation. DHA is vital for the brain and retina and is found in fish oil and cod liver oil.
Vitamin D is critical for every part of the eye and can help with conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinopathy. Take at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D every day. Vitamin A is essential, especially for night vision. Zinc can also help!

Today, I’m going to share two effective home remedies for skin tags and warts. A wart is caused by the HPV virus, while skin tags usually occur in areas of friction.
High insulin can increase one's susceptibility to skin tags. People with diabetes, overweight people, and women with PCOS are at a higher risk of developing them.
When you produce too much insulin over a period of time, you can develop insulin resistance. Too much insulin is caused by eating too many carbs or frequent eating. Insulin resistance makes it difficult to absorb glucose. Over time, this deprives your brain cells of fuel, leading to memory problems, concentration problems, and early dementia.
The solution is to give your body an alternative fuel source, such as ketones, fatty acids, and protein. To do this, lower your carbs and do intermittent fasting. This will lower insulin and prevent growths like skin tags and warts.
A virus that comes out of remission can create warts if your immune system is compromised. Sufficient vitamin D can support the immune system and put these viruses back in remission. Take 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily, especially in winter.
Povidone iodine is an excellent remedy for skin tags. It has potent antiviral and antimicrobial properties, so it’s also good for warts. Iodine dissolves the protein in the skin tag and acts as a dehydrator.
Garlic contains allicin, a powerful antiviral compound effective against warts. Because it’s often difficult to differentiate between warts and skin tags, add garlic to ensure your remedy is effective.
Crush one clove of garlic and combine one drop of garlic with one drop of iodine. Apply the mixture to your wart or skin tag and cover it with a band-aid. Repeat this every day until your skin tag or wart is gone.

When my father was a child in 1948, he recalls a different way of life. Sugary cereals like Fruit Loops, Captain Crunch, and Fruity Pebbles did not line the aisles of the grocery store. Children did not have mid-morning snacks at school and were told not to spoil their appetites by eating before dinner.
Saturated fats were not demonized as they are today. Lard and tallow were found in every kitchen, and red meat was a dietary staple. Most people had gardens and relied on the skill of canning to get them through the winter.
Obesity and chronic disease in childhood were uncommon, while childhood obesity, food allergies, asthma, and autism plague the children of today!
The largest category of ultra-processed foods are snack foods. The problem with snacking is that you spike insulin every time you eat. Carbohydrates create the most significant spike in insulin. Not only are we snacking, but we’re snacking on the worst foods!
The pancreas is constantly working to pump out insulin to remove sugar from the blood. This eventually leads to insulin resistance, which is behind almost every chronic illness, including a fatty liver, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, inflammatory diseases, mood disorders, dementia, and more.
In 1948, we did not have not have ultra-processed food calories. Today, 65% of the teenage diet comes from ultra-processed food calories. This number is around 50% for adults and 45% for toddlers.
Seed oils, such as soy, corn, cottonseed, and canola, are the worst ultra-processed food ingredients. Around 25% to 30% of all our calories come from seed oils.
Grain-based starches generate 220 billion dollars per year! Highly processed industrial starches such as modified food starch, modified cornstarch, and maltodextrin spike blood sugar—often higher than consuming sugar does!

Refined starches include rice flour, tapioca flour, corn flour, modified corn starch, maltodextrin, and modified food starch. Certain nutrients are required to metabolize refined starch and turn it into energy. Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is vital to this process.
Refined starches are much higher on the glycemic index (GI) than sugar—this scale tells you how fast a food can raise blood sugar. Sugar is a 74 on the GI, while refined starches like maltodextrin are 180!
Vitamin B1 is not stored in the body in large amounts, so consuming refined starches can quickly cause you to become deficient.
Symptoms of vitamin B1 deficiency include:
•Fatigue
•GI problems (slow digestion, bloating, constipation, nausea)
•Low stomach acid
•Low bile
•Stress
•Nervous tension
•Insomnia
•Frequent mood swings
•Muscle twitches
•Breathing problems
Much of the refined starch broken down into glucose in the body can not be used as energy, so it’s converted into lactic acid. This decreases oxygen in the body and makes it more acidic, which can cause hyperventilation and restless legs syndrome.
Along with diet, the following factors can also contribute to vitamin B1 deficiency:
•Alcohol
•Tea
•Coffee
•Raw fish
•Gut issues
•Metformin
•Excessive exercise
Meat, especially pork, is the best food source of vitamin B1. Liver, eggs, and sunflower seeds are also good sources. Refined grains are often fortified with synthetic B vitamins, which you should avoid.
If you want to supplement vitamin B1, look for the natural form called allithiamine. Benfotiamine is also a good supplement form of vitamin B1.
Magnesium is an important cofactor involved in turning starches into energy. If you don’t have enough magnesium, vitamin B1 won’t work.
Magnesium helps control calcium in the body. Symptoms of low magnesium include:

If the bottom of your foot is inflamed, you don't want to stretch it! Stretching the calf or massaging the bottom of the foot can make plantar fasciitis pain worse.
Before you perform this plantar fasciitis stretch, rate your pain on a scale of 1 to 10 when putting pressure on your foot.
To perform the stretch, sit down and bend your toes downward. This shouldn’t hurt! This exercise stretches the opposite muscles and fascia. After performing this stretch, rerate your foot pain.
Another surprising solution for plantar fasciitis is a low-carb diet combined with intermittent fasting. Inflammation that can cause plantar fasciitis occurs when your carbs are too high.
The root cause of plantar fasciitis is too much calcium. Magnesium controls calcium in the body and can get rid of excess calcium. Cramps and plantar fasciitis are common signs of a magnesium deficiency. Try taking 400 mg of magnesium glycinate each day to combat plantar fasciitis.

Did you know that too much iron can decrease longevity? Your body makes hydrogen peroxide that is used by the immune system to kill microbes. When hydrogen peroxide combines with iron, it can cause serious cellular damage.
People with iron-deficiency anemia often have dysfunctional iron, which means it’s unavailable to the red blood cells. This could be why we are not seeing a decrease in anemia even though we've increased iron in the food supply.
Iron overload may increase your risk for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, cancer, heart disease, and more. Excess iron causes oxidative stress and increases inflammation.
As we age, we naturally accumulate more iron. Around 70% of our iron is stored in protein in the blood that helps carry oxygen. Ferritin should be inside your tissues to protect you from free iron and control when iron is released. This very efficient system recycles iron in the body.
Certain pathogens, microbes, and infections use iron as fuel. This is why the body protects free iron. Some people feel better after donating blood, indicating they have too much iron.
Too much iron without enough copper is a big problem. If you think you have this problem, limit iron exposure before taking a copper supplement. Iron is found in enriched flours, grains, and refined carbohydrate products. Shellfish, organ meats, sunflower seeds, and dark chocolate are good sources of copper.
To combat oxidative damage caused by iron and other factors like alcohol, smoking, pollution, and junk foods, you’ll want to build up your antioxidant reserve. Glutamine found in red meat is vital, but protein is the most important! It’s especially important to consume enough protein as you get older.
Zinc, manganese, magnesium, and selenium can increase antioxidant networks to help you regulate excess iron. Quercetin, curcumin, black tea, and increasing melatonin are also very beneficial.
Lactoferrin is the most powerful chelator for iron. It’s found naturally in dairy and can be taken as a supplement.

Today, I'm going to show you several different arm exercises that can help you quickly get rid of flabby arms. If you can’t do them all, that’s okay—choose the ones that are right for you! Pick the best exercises for your home arm workout.
As we age, the muscles in our arms start to atrophy along with our fascia. Fascia holds the shape of the arm and is vital for the whole body. Fascia maintains the body’s shape, keeps your muscles in place, and shares some of the force on your body when you exercise. When you stimulate the fascia, you cause collagen synthesis, which is essential as you age.
The arm exercises I’m going to show you focus on strengthening the primary and secondary muscles, associated supporting muscles, and the fascia. This arm workout is safe on the joints, produces significant strength, and can reshape the arms for slim, toned arms.
Most of the exercises I’m going to show you today are isometric exercises. This type of exercise increases tension in the muscle without lengthening or shortening it. Contracting your muscle is referred to as a concentric movement, while the extension is an eccentric movement.
You’ll need a resistance band or isometric band for these arm exercises. Some will be done using a TRX, which works great for an arm workout. Gymnastic rings can also work but are not necessary. If you don’t have any equipment, don’t worry! You can also get slim, toned arms by using your body weight.

Today, we’re going to talk about kidney health. A big myth is that potassium is bad for the kidneys, but this isn't true! Our bodies require 4700 mg of potassium each day. The only time you’d want to avoid potassium is if you have advanced-stage kidney disease.
Potassium protects kidney health in several ways. It helps lower high blood pressure, which damages the kidneys and protects against kidney stones. Too much sodium can be hard on the kidneys, but the remedy is more potassium.
Many factors can contribute to kidney damage, including the following:
•High sugar consumption
•Alcohol
•NSAIDs
•Certain medications
•Pesticides
•Heavy metals
•Food dyes
•Phosphorus from soda
A proper diet with adequate vitamin D, potassium, and magnesium can significantly improve kidney health.

Surprisingly, one of the earliest signs of dementia involves the retina. There is a high correlation between problems in the retina and problems in the brain. Problems with night vision or central vision, floaters, and light sensitivity issues are the earliest signs of dementia.
Some people develop amyloid-beta plaquing on the retina and may experience problems differentiating shades of grey and other colors. Researchers have found high levels of microbes, typically found in the mouth, in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients.
When people die from dementia, it’s usually caused by an infection such as a UTI or lung infection. For some people, surgery can be too much on the body and lead to death. Some people with dementia have a slow, progressive degeneration of the brain to the point they’re bedridden and stop eating and drinking, which ultimately leads to death.
Focus on cleaning your brain and reducing inflammation for dementia prevention. The glymphatic system cleans the brain, mainly at night, which is one of the primary purposes of sleep. This system removes malformed proteins and plaquing and rejuvenates the brain.
Anything that inhibits sleeping may increase your risk for Alzheimer’s, heart attacks, strokes, cancer, blood sugar issues, and type 2 diabetes. Sleep apnea can also be problematic. You need 8 to 9 hours of sleep! Alcohol significantly interferes with REM sleep and is very damaging to brain health.
To prevent Alzheimer’s, you must flood the brain with oxygen. Exercise is one of the best ways to do this! Exercise stimulates the growth of brain cells and the hormone BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor).
Adequate sun exposure and high amounts of vitamin D can help support healthy sleep.
A diet high in sugar and carbohydrates can starve your neurons. Brain cells love ketones! To get into ketosis, you must lower your carbohydrate intake. If you have any early signs of dementia, try taking ketones as a supplement or MCT oil. Niacin may also be helpful. Take 50 mg daily, slowly increasing to 500 mg per day.

You don’t need to go to the dentist or purchase whitening strips for white teeth. Baking soda is nonabrasive and can be used to gently scrub your teeth to remove stains and plaque. You can combine baking soda with 3% hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth at home.
Combine 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 3 drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide and 8 drops of water. This mixture breaks the bonds of tooth stains, leaving you with whiter teeth. It’s also beneficial for eliminating bacteria and reducing plaque formation.
Use a toothbrush to gently polish your teeth with this paste for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse your mouth thoroughly when you’re finished. Do this 2 to 3 times per week for a few weeks for whiter teeth. Teeth whitening should be done gradually to avoid damaging the gums and tooth enamel.
Oil pulling is an ancient practice that involves swishing oil in the mouth for 10 to 20 minutes. Coconut oil is great for oil pulling. It’s high in lauric acid, a potent anti-microbial that is effective against bacteria, fungus, and candida. It also helps with bad breath. Research has found oil pulling to be as effective as prescription mouthwash against gingivitis.
Vitamin C and glucose compete in the body. Bleeding gums are often caused by low vitamin C. If you consume a lot of sugar, glucose will block your vitamin C, which will show up in your gums.

7. Avocado and strawberries
Combine 1 cup of each! Avocado contains glutathione, one of the most potent antioxidants, and also has reparative properties for the liver. Strawberries help increase overall liver function and metabolism and remove fat from the liver.
8. Coconut and papaya
Coconut contains lauric acid, which is beneficial for the immune system. It contains MCT fat, which turns into ketones. This combination decreases inflammation and scarring on the liver.
