2 John 1:7
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

John defines the term "antichrist." It is he who does not acknowledge Messiah as coming in the flesh.

1 John 2:22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.

These two short letters have some very important truths for us to know. In the sixth verse of his second letter, John defines "love" for us according to Scripture. It's interesting that the term is not an emotion, as we so often view it. "Love" according to Scripture is keeping the commandments of the Father.

Another term that is defined for us is "antichrist." These "antichrists" are ones who deny Yeshua as the Messiah of Scripture. An "antichrist" is not some evil, demonic figure that appears in the last days as taught by so many clowns in prophecy circles today. The term "antichrist" only appears in Scripture in the first and second letters of John; neither of which is prophetic. Come join us!
