God is SO PLEASED when we trust Him. Yet God wants us being WISE in our trusting, however. Self-willed assumptions and presumptions can get in the way of not receiving from God what we would like Him to grant us. For instance, we can ask and determine to trust God to make us billionaires, but God isn't going to honor our trust in the matter, more than likely, is He? Thus ASKING God FIRST in what we're to trust Him for and being patient until He answers us is SO WISE. When we approach God in this fashion, odds increase that our confidence in trusting Him grows stronger and stronger.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” (Isaiah 26:3). That doesn't mean God gives us everything we trust Him for. But it DOES mean that God will give us what we need to stand victorious in EVERY trial - every storm we go through when we TRUST He will work GOOD out of it. Maybe not in this life, but for CERTAIN, in eternity. That is the quality of trust that will carry us through EVERY hardship we face in this life, and it's the quality of trust that is the most God-glorifying.

Also something very important to keep in mind. Satan is constantly trying to get us to trust God for things he knows God mostly likely won't honor. When we do that over and over, as I have done sadly many times in my earlier days of walking with the Lord, it tends to decrease our faith and trust in God when we need it the MOST. Grow wise as quickly as you can to this side of the spiritual battle we are in. Satan CONSTANTLY is trying to shipwreck our faith and trust in God.
