Cockatoo Gets Car Sick

Sunny Boy gets car sick so to help alleviate his symptoms I take away his water and food two hours before we have to travel, regardless of how far we have to go. I use a rope perch so that it will help absorb the vibrations coming from the vehicle, I talk to him, sing to him and play the radio. It definitely seems to make a big difference.
